Manchester Soccer Club and Challenger Sports invite your team to participate in our annual tournament in the beautiful town of Manchester, Connecticut. The tournament is open to girls & boys U9–U15.
We have always focused on offering a fun yet competitive environment, and making sure you will enjoy friendly atmosphere while playing a high level of competition.
The Manchester Fall Classic is the longest running tournament in the State and sanctioned by the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association, which is affiliated with USYSA.
The tournament is open to boys and girl’s teams from U9 to U15.
• The U9 and U10 age groups are non-competitive divisions and will play four (4) games, and all participants will receive a participation award for playing in the tournament.
• The U11 through U15 age groups are competitive divisions, teams will play three (3) games, with a final game to be held in each division in said age groups.
The U9 & U10 will be played in the 7v7 format; U11 & U12 will be played in the 9v9 formation; and U13, U14 & U15 games will be played in the 11v11 format.
It is customary that all players exchange team/club patches after each game.
The tournament committee makes every effort to create balanced divisions with an opportunity to play teams from different areas. An effort is made to accommodate game schedules with travel plans for out of state teams, but we recommend that out of state teams plan on lodging for both Friday and Saturday nights. Please see our website for more details.
Past years have featured teams from Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Pennsylvania.
